Community Resources During Coronavirus Outbreak
The coronavirus outbreak is an unprecedented challenge that we must all take very seriously. Stay home if you can. If you MUST go out, practice social distancing and stay at least six feet away from other people.
This page offers a guide to resources that will be available to people across Louisiana, broken down by region. We will keep this page updated as new information becomes available.
COVID-19 vaccine eligibility has been expanded in Louisiana. There are now 3 different types of vaccines: Moderna and Pfizer, which are both 2 injection vaccines, and the Johnson and Johnson vaccine which is only one injection. They have all been approved by the FDA, are safe, and 100% effective at preventing hospitalization and death.
COVID-19 Vaccine Locations and participating sites that have received COVID-19 vaccines and are currently accepting appointments can be found HERE. Website and phone information listed should connect to location scheduling options.Â
