FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEBATON ROUGE, LA—The Power Coalition for Equity and Justice will host several Thanksgiving Holiday Foodbox Giveaways this Saturday November 18th on Election Day! This election season has been exceptionally quiet in terms of turnout amongst some of the most vulnerable of populations and it is extremely important to center them and meet them where they are. Come by one of the following churches during the scheduled times, and pick up a food box and a sample ballot and amendment booklet on Election Day!
