Thank You Governor

for standing with the people of this state who demanded a fair and equitable process.

Thank You Louisiana

Thousands of you participated in the Redistricting process to help see this moment.

The fight is not over yet.

Tell your legislator to stand on the right side of history and uphold the Governor’s Veto

Tell Your State Legislators to Draw Fair & Equitable Maps!

Urge your State Senators and Representatives to draw political maps that uphold equity and fairness in this year’s redistricting process. Historically, Louisiana has diluted the voting power and voices of people of color in our state. It is important that we ensure equity in this year’s map drawing process. Tell your state legislators that Louisiana needs to draw political districts that reduce the efficiency gap, create competitive districts, and stop packing and cracking minority communities.

Support Power Coalition and Partner's Roadmap to Recovery for an Equitable Louisiana!

Power Coalition’s Roadmap to Recovery includes opportunities that we see for investments and policy changes to create a more equitable state following COVID-19 and devastating storms. We invite you to read our Roadmap to Recovery through the lens that we view Louisiana. A state that is full of opportunities for growth, investment, and innovation.

We imagine a Louisiana where being born here means you have every opportunity for success and this Roadmap is a guide to how we can rebuild better together. This will take all facets of the community and must include local and state governments doing everything within their power to provide aid, resources, and refuge. We will be working with elected officials to use this roadmap as a guide and ask that you share the Roadmap with your networks to help us advocate for the strategies outlined here.
