Power Forum: District Attorney–New Orleans

The Power Forums are Power Coalition’s Candidate Forums. These forums are an opportunity to hear from your prospective elected officials on issues that you care about in your community and everyday lives. When you pledge to be a Power Voter, you are pledging to hold your elected officials accountable.

The District Attorney has the power to choose which charges are filed against an individual accused of a crime, divert the accused to a program, or dismiss the case altogether.
