That direct action is necessary, important, and exciting. But we must also direct that energy toward voting. The ballot booth is another opportunity to make sure our demands are met and that we end the evil of systemic racism in Louisiana and across the country. Every election matters, which is why it’s crucial that we all make our voices heard in the upcoming elections.
