Become An Election Worker
Get paid to serve your community!
Visit the State of Louisiana Elections and Voting website to learn more about becoming an Election Worker.
- Most Louisiana Election Workers are over 60 years old, which means they are more susceptible to the effects of COVID-19. We need to hire and train a new generation of election workers to protect the health of our communities and the health of our democracy.
- To become an Election Worker, you must be a registered voter in Louisiana who is able to perform the required duties as laid out in this informational pamphlet. You can’t be a candidate for office, and you will have to attend a training course.
- Election Workers can earn up to $200 an election, or $250 an election if you serve in an administrative capacity. It’s a fun, easy, rewarding way to help your community.
