
Ori Wilson is a New Orleans native and alumna of Benjamin Franklin High School. She earned her B.A. in English Literature from Howard University. With a deep commitment to youth empowerment and community engagement, Ori has spent time living and working abroad—studying Spanish, teaching young people, and building cross-cultural connections that inform her writing and organizing work.
Ori is passionate about mentorship and education, with a particular focus on addressing declining literacy rates among youth. Ori has served as both a community organizer and a regional organizer for a national Gen Z-led organization, leading campaigns and initiatives rooted in equity, civic engagement, and grassroots power. Her work reflects a balance of strategic coordination and people-centered leadership.
