The House Education Committee Hearing Meeting Scheduled for January 19th HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
The Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) voted to reconvene the review committee that prepared the revisions to the ELDS due to the over 600 comments received through the online public comment portal in December 2022/January 2023.
The standards review committee is expected to give an update to BESE by April. Right now, there is no scheduled legislative hearing for the standards. Thank you for your effort and input during this process! We will keep you updated as we know more.
