The Louisiana Policy Institute for Children recently released a fact sheet for 2021-2022 performance ratings on publicly funded early care and education programs in Louisiana. We want to celebrate that the data released shows our state childcare providers continue to improve the quality of care offered to our young learners.
While the data shows continued improvement, too many children are still not receiving the instruction needed to fully prepare them for kindergarten.

We also want to lift up the Local Funding Toolkit for Strengthening Early Care and Education in Louisiana Communities. This toolkit is designed to help cities and parishes in Louisiana strengthen and build local early care and education systems.
