New Orleans Town Hall: Power & Progress-The Path Forward for Black Louisiana


Power & Progress: The Path Forward for Black Louisiana is a post-2026 Legislative Session Town Hall designed to inform, engage, and empower communities across Louisiana. Hosted following the conclusion of the legislative session, this forum will provide an in-depth review of key legislation affecting Black communities, with a focus on public policy, voting rights, economic opportunity, and strategies to close the racial wealth gap. Participants will hear directly from legislators, policy experts, and community leaders about legislative victories, challenges, vetoes, and the work that remains. Together, we will chart a path forward that advances equity, protects democratic participation, expands economic mobility, and builds a stronger, more prosperous future for Black Louisiana.
