Honoring Martin Luther King’s Dream: Day of Service
Join us in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy through service and care for our neighbors. We will gather in community to prepare sandwiches for local community fridges and assemble blessing bags for our unhoused neighbors. Blessing bags will include toiletries, hygiene products, nonperishable snacks, and socks. Please bring materials to contribute, including sandwich supplies (bread, meats, cheeses, and fillings) and items for blessing bags (see recommended list below).

- Travel-size toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
- Deodorant (travel-size preferred)
- Soap or body wash
- Shampoo / conditioner
- Hand sanitizer
- Facial tissues
- Wet wipes
Health & Comfort
- New socks (adult sizes, preferably warm)
- Lip balm
- Lotion
- Feminine hygiene products
- Disposable razors
Food (Nonperishable)
- Granola bars or protein bars
- Crackers or snack packs
- Peanut butter or nut butter packets
- Trail mix
- Applesauce cups or pouches
- Shelf-stable juice boxes or bottled water
Practical Items
- Reusable grocery bags or gallon-size zip-top bags
