We are living in a time when the whole country is crying out for change. People are taking to the streets to demand reforms that are long overdue. That direct action is necessary, important, and exciting. But we must also direct that energy toward voting. The ballot booth is another opportunity to make sure our demands are met and that we end the evil of systemic racism in Louisiana and across the country. Every election matters, which is why it’s crucial that we all make our voices heard in the upcoming elections.
Your VOICE matters.
You HAVE power.
Your VOTE counts.
You HAVE power.
Your VOTE counts.
The Power Coalition for Equity and Justice works to build power and voice in traditionally disenfranchised communities across Louisiana. We are a coalition of groups whose mission is to organize in impacted communities, educate and turn out voters, and fight for policies that create a more equitable and just system in our state.
