ELDS Testimony Training
The revised ELDS were approved by the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) in December 2022. The updated learning standards are now moving forward to the Louisiana State Legislature. If passed, the final approval will be up to the Governor.
How can you get involved?
On Thursday, January 19th, at 10 AM at the Louisiana State Capitol (House Committee on Education) Room 1 the legislature will hold a public hearing. This is an opportunity for you to join us in person to give testimony.
If you’re interested in providing in-person testimony: we will be hosting a training on Monday, January 16, 2023 via Zoom at 6 p.m.
