SUMMARY:<span class="date-span-title">Help, Not Handcuffs!</span>
DESCRIPTION:\nTuesdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 12pm May 25th – June 26th \n\n\n\nVirtual and In-Person Options Available\n\n\n\nLearn &amp; Share: Supporting Mental Health Crises Without Police\n\n\n\nParticipants will receive a $30 gift card.*\n\n\n\nOrleans Parish Prison Reform Coalition (OPPRC) is hosting Learn &amp; Share: Supporting Mental Health Crises Without Police events! Police interactions during mental health crises cost us a lot of tax dollars, and it’s both emotionally traumatizing and physically harmful. When the police respond to mental health crises, they often escalate situations while negatively impacting community health across New Orleans communities. There is another way. You can help create a new solution by registering for their next event (Saturday, in-person) HERE! Check out their Facebook event HERE!\n
